Argentium silver is important to our jewellery design because it is stronger, brighter and more versatile than more traditional sterling silver. Argentium contains germanium rather than copper, which means that it is tarnish resistant and requires less maintenance by customers in future. We also use a variety of different techniques, to create the best jewellery design for you. We use a mixture of hammered metal and chainmail to create interesting, intricate and asymmetrical designs. We have been able to create these fascinating hybrid designs since we were studying in the AFEDAP Jewellery School in Paris. The ancient art of chainmail involves creating a quality woven like material using small metal rings. By combining this chainmail jewellery with hammered metal plates and unique looking pendants, the jewellery design at NAIIAD is given a flexible and sophisticated twist.
